A daily dose of motivation is what we all need! | Zig Ziglar quotes | Find him on Amazon.

People often say that motivation doesn’t last. Well, neither does bathing; that’s why we recommend it daily.

Zig Ziglar

Motivation is a general willingness to do something. Our passion and interests keep us motivated in what we do. But not all the time. It’s perfectly fine to feel de-motivated even for the things we love!

Why do you need a daily dose of motivation?

Boredom, repetitiveness, monotonousness, lack of interest, and difficulties often get in the way of motivation. Hence, de-motivation!

We need a dose of motivation to keep our spirits high for our existing work or start with something new. Yes, in the long run, we need motivation – active inspiration to keep doing our best and face challenges.

Motivation comes from our actions, the people we follow, the ideologies we believe in, or watching our favorite show/movie.

How can you stay motivated?

  • Make a habit of taking some action daily, even if you don’t want to go into details. For example, there are days when I don’t feel like writing. So instead of completely giving up that day, I ensure that I follow my habit of writing 300 words for the day and then leave it till I feel it again.
  • Take breaks when needed. Go for a walk, play with your kid, listen to music, or do whatever that helps your brain get some relaxation. A small break can do wonders for you, believe me!
  • Keep rotating your work during the day. When you feel stuck with some task for any reason, leave it there and shift to a new task that is simpler, you have all the clarity needed, and is easy to finish. For example, when unable to continue writing, I take a break and do some designing before returning to the writing task. Making a design makes me happy and gives me the confidence to start fresh.
  • Seek feedback regularly. Check with yourself, your friends, or colleagues about your progress. A reality check is the best motivation.
