You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream.

C.S. Lewis

Too often, people think that once they reach a certain age, their time for dreaming and achieving new goals has passed. But that’s simply not true.
Think about it – there are countless examples of people who have achieved great things later in life. Colonel Sanders started KFC at 62, Vera Wang didn’t start designing clothes until she was 40, and Stan Lee created some of the most iconic characters in his 40s and 50s. The list goes on and on.

Why do so many people give up on their dreams?

Sometimes it’s fear – fear of failure, fear of the unknown, fear of what others will think. Other times, it’s simply a lack of motivation or inspiration. Maybe you don’t have the resources or support system you need. Perhaps society is telling you that you’re too old, young, or whatever to pursue your dreams.

Ready to dream again?

It’s time to stop listening to the noise and start listening to your heart.

If you have a dream or goal you want to achieve, go for it. It doesn’t matter how old you are or how long it’s been since you last pursued something like this. So take a step back and think about what you really want. What is your dream? What is your goal? Then, make a plan for how to achieve it.

Of course, that’s easier said than done. It takes courage and determination to step out of your comfort zone and pursue something new. But the rewards are worth it. Not only will you feel a sense of accomplishment when you achieve your goal, but you’ll also learn and grow in the process.
